OUR OS

RMAIOS. The operating system behind every Aurum engagement.

The Retail Media AI Operating System is a team of nineteen specialist AI agents that runs the full advisory lifecycle, from the first revenue model to the first invoice. Built by a practitioner. Checked by an auditor. Calibrated for the Gulf.

WHY WE BUILT IT

Why we built it.

Most retail media advice is written for another market. Global playbooks assume endemic brands queue up on day one, that half the site is sellable inventory and that benchmarks travel intact across borders. None of that holds in the Gulf. Here, non-endemic demand activates first. Monetisable inventory is a fraction of what global models assume. Data protection law in the UAE and Saudi Arabia sets hard boundaries on how audiences can be built, moved and measured.

A business case built on imported assumptions fails twice: once at the board table when the numbers do not survive scrutiny, and again after launch when reality arrives.

RMAIOS was built to close that gap. It takes the operating knowledge earned building and running a Gulf retail media network at scale and encodes it as a system: rules, models, evaluation criteria and sequencing logic that apply with machine consistency on every engagement.

Built by a practitioner, not assembled from templates.

RMAIOS was designed and built by Sohail Nawaz MBE, Aurum's Co-Founder and CEO, drawing on 35 years across publishing, e-commerce, retail and telecom, including building one of the region's largest retail media networks from zero to eight figures in annual revenue.

The system is owned and operated by Aurum Advisory. It is not licensed software, a white-labelled tool or a wrapper on a chatbot. Every rule inside it was written from decisions made running a live retail media P&L: which channels to open first, which vendors survive due diligence, what fill rates actually look like in year one and what boards ask when the numbers land in front of them.

That provenance is the difference. Advice generated by a system that has never run a network sounds plausible. Advice generated by a system built from operating experience holds up.

One system, the whole lifecycle.

Nineteen specialist agents work in structured groups, each with a defined role, defined data access and a defined handoff to the next.

1

Size of Prize

Revenue modelling and channel architecture. What is the opportunity worth, channel by channel, year by year and what has to be true for the number to hold.

2

Demand Generation

Advertiser targeting, rate cards and measurement design. Who buys, at what price and how results are proven without overpromising.

3

Future-Proofing

Agentic commerce monitoring and generative engine optimisation. How the network stays visible as AI agents become buyers.

4

Implementation and Launch

Stakeholder alignment, change management and communications, sequenced through five phases with mandatory gates at each transition.

5

Operations and Revenue

Campaign management, delivery reconciliation and invoicing. The lifecycle ends at collected revenue, not at a recommendation.

An orchestration agent coordinates every group. An independent audit agent validates every output. Nothing reaches a client without human review and approval.

Your data, governed like it matters.

Client isolation.

Every engagement runs in a fully isolated workspace. No client's data is ever visible to another client's analysis.

Session-only processing.

Client data is processed in the active session and nowhere else. The system retains methodology, never data.

No personal data in the AI layer.

Individual-level processing happens inside your own infrastructure. Only aggregate, anonymised outputs enter the system. This is the architectural firewall that keeps personal data out of cross-border AI processing entirely.

Compliance before connection.

A signed data processing agreement precedes any data flow, with handling aligned to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the Saudi PDPL. No exceptions.

The combination is the moat.

Consultancies sell people. Software vendors sell tools. Aurum runs an operating system that combines both: practitioner judgement encoded as executable rules, applied at AI speed, checked by an independent validation layer and signed off by a human who has run the P&L.

Any one of those elements can be copied. The combination, built on first-hand Gulf operating data, cannot be assembled from a template.

See what the system says about your opportunity.

Every engagement starts with a Size of Prize assessment: a validated, board-ready view of what retail media is worth to your business.
